Dr. Russell Surasky, FAAN, FASAM is one of the only physicians in the United States who is double board-certified in both neurology and addiction medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Surasky maintains a full-time clinical practice and is credentialed in the Department of Neurology at Northwell Health, one of New York’s largest hospital systems. He also serves as a Professor of Neurology at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. 

A nationally recognized speaker on the opioid crisis, Dr. Surasky has trained physicians across the country in advanced, non-opioid detox protocols. As former Medical Director of Bridge Back to Life, one of New York’s largest addiction treatment programs, he became the first neurologist in the U.S. to formally integrate chiropractic care into outpatient addiction protocols.
